This is a sort of “Magnum Opus” in double-knitting. It's knit in one piece but has modular construction in that the cards can be configured in any order you choose. I recommend, for the most random arrangement possible, that you actually play “52 Pickup” with a real deck of cards.

Each card is charted 4 times for various positions, and as such the entire pattern is 115 pages long. You only need about half of that for any given scarf, however.
