Design your own Double-knitted Hat
Hats are a wonderful and practical way to play with new patterns and techniques without the commitment of a larger garment, and the result will keep you or a loved one warm on cold winter days. The vast majority of a hat is simple circular work, and the crown is a graceful introduction to double-knit shaping.
In this three-session workshop, I'll take you through my principles of hat design, help you through a simple gauge swatch, advise you and answer questions about your own design, and then take you through crown planning, various decreases, and finishing.
When this workshop's recordings are completed, it is likely that the final recording available for separate purchase will be an edited version rather than the full 9 hours. Students who attend the workshop (through this site) will retain access to the full video set.
