Design Your own Double-knitted Mittens
In the same vein as my Hat Design workshop, this workshop takes you through designing a pair of custom double-knitted mittens. I love the Eastern Thumb for my mittens, so I'll teach that method, as well as the two-circulars method of small-diameter knitting in the round (you may, at your discretion, use DPNs or magic loop but I will not be teaching those styles).
Over the span of 3 sessions, you'll get an understanding of the Eastern Thumb structure and its benefits, measure and swatch, plan out your own chart, learn a lovely textured cuff, and work through the various increases and decreases required to shape and finish a mitten. The second mitten will, out of necessity, be done on your own time afterward.
