Double-knitting “Annetarsia”
Intarsia in the round has a couple of different methods, but my favorite is the one promoted by Anne Berk. When I designed my Kontinuum hat, I used her methods to adapt double-knitting intarsia techniques to a circular piece which ends up completely seamless. Because we won’t have time to work an entire hat-sized cast-on, I’ll also take this opportunity to teach my preferred small-diameter method using two circular needles (you are welcome to use DPNs or magic loop but I will not be teaching those methods).
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to achieve a seamless double-knit intarsia pattern in the round, and how the color changes can be moved in either direction.
