Foundations

Foundations workshops are an excellent way to start building your double-knitting skills.  With a strong foundation, you can build other skills with ease. Most of the workshops in the other Tiers are dependent on the skills you learn from at least one of these workshops, so if you aren't already comfortable with the basics of double-knitting and are interested in a workshop from Tier 1, 2, or 3, make sure you check that workshop's prerequisites to know which Foundation you should take first.

Foundations workshops include:

• Introduction to Double-knitting
• Advanced Beginner Double-knitting
• Double-knitting in the Round (foundation for Hat Design, Mitten Design, and Annetarsia workshops)
• Slip-stitch Double-knitting (foundation for Beyond Slip-stitch Double-knitting only)
