Patterns by Skill Level
One of the most common questions I'm asked is “Where should I start?”
Here you can find my double-knitting patterns arranged by skill level. Please note: the classification is completely subjective; everyone will experience things differently. Also, the order within each category is more-or-less random.
You can also find the patterns listed by source or by new releases.
Beginner
These patterns are well-suited to the new double-knitter. They may assume some other knitting knowledge but otherwise will use only the basic concepts of two-color double-knitting.

Intermediate
These patterns will be a good next step once you have a solid double-knitting foundation. They use techniques which were documented in my book Extreme Double-knitting or simpler techniques from Double or Nothing.
